Robert M. “Bob” Sproch, 75 of Plainfield, formerly of Oakbrook Terrace, passed away at his residence on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004. Beloved husband of Patricia, nee Tracy; loving father of Jim (Sue), Tom (Elena) Dean (Jackie) Sproch, Debbie (Chuck) Lasky, Cathy (Toby) Tuttle and the late Cindi; proud grandfather of Charles (Erin), Eric and Mark Lasky, Colleen (Brad) Karlow, Joshua, Danielle, Matthew, Emilio, Arielle and Jacob Sproch, Robbie and Kenny Clarke and Rachel McCreary; great-grandfather of Blake, Paige, Faith and Brooke Lasky, Alex Karlow and Ashlynn Clarke; dear brother of Lucille (Al) Oswald. Bob Sproch was always ready to help those who were unable to help themselves. Of all his accomplishments, what he was proudest of most, was his family. Married 53 years, 50 year Cement Mason, retired Voyager, Scout Master BSA Troop #70 and taught at Union Apprentice School. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2004, at Kingdom Hall, 157 Fredrick, Plainfield, IL. Arrangements were handled by Cremation Society of IL, 800-622-8358.
