Manuel A. Kanter, age 80, of Chicago, passed away Feb. 6, 2004. He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Ruth Klain Kanter; sister, Dorothy (Fred) Cutter; children, Joel (Cindy), Daniel (Ellen), Joanne (Karen) and Deborah (Javier); and grandchildren, Rebecca, Jenna, Michael, Elana, Leora, Jessica, Adam and Leon. Manny worked at Argonne National Laboratory for 40 years, in recent times he was a coordinator at the ILR at Northwestern University. Service Sunday 11 a.m. at Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd. (1 block north of Old Orchard). Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie. Information, 847-256-5700.
