Andrew E. “Andy” Luedtke, 47, of Boise, ID and a former resident of the Chicago area, died Sunday morning, Feb. 8, 2004, at his home, with his family at his side. Born on June 25, 1956 to Ronald and Grace (Rentner) Luedtke at Elmhurst, IL. Graduated from York High school in 1974. Earned B.A. in Electrical Engineering from Austin, TX and a Master’s Degree from the University of Washington. Married Selma Barnes of Dryden, WA on July 14, 1990 in Seattle, WA. They moved to Boise, ID and his career consisted of 20 years of engineering. Survived by his wife; two daughters, Corissa and Stephanie Luedtke all of Boise; his mother, Grace Luedtke of Arlington Heights, IL; two sisters, Ronda Wilmont of Elmhurst, IL and Karen Kovach of Plano, TX; two brothers, Scott Luedtke of Aurora, IL and Bill Luedtke of Riverside, CA. Preceded in death by his father. A Memorial Service of Commemoration to Celebrate the Life of Andy Luedtke will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon (2/11/04) in the Boise Church of Christ and at 11 a.m. Saturday morning (2/14/04) in the Ward’s Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth. Private Family interment will be in the Peshastin Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society or the Boise Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 2000 N. Eldorado St., Boise, ID 83712.
