Would someone please explain to me why so many in the media feel they need to anoint a front-runner in the Democratic primaries?
I like John Kerry and will support him if nominated, but so far only a small percentage of the U.S. has voted. What would have happened if South Carolina or Arkansas had been the next state to hold a primary instead of New Hampshire, Kerry’s back yard? Then John Edwards or Wesley Clark would have gotten the “bump” and perhaps be the front-runner now.
The Tribune did a great job of telling us about each of the candidates. Now please list all the candidates and, side by side and in brief, list their stands on all the major issues. Some of them have terrific ideas, but you have to go to their Web sites to get at that information.
