Robert George Bambas, age 70, of Batavia, formerly of Lisle, passed away peacefully Feb. 19, at his residence in Batavia. Beloved husband of Geraldine, nee Obucina, Bambas; loving father of Robert Peter (Sandra) Bambas of Romeoville and Jacqueline (Kelly) Miller of Warrenville; caring grandfather of Sarah Bambas and Kyle and Katlyn Miller; dear brother of Carol Bambas. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 22, 4 until 9 p.m. at the Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave. (Rt. 31) in Batavia. Funeral Monday 10 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 W. Main St. in Batavia for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Assumption Cemetery in Winfield.
