This is regarding “Oh, rats; Flushing out the facts behind `the incident'” (Tempo, April 30).
I was disappointed with your one-sided article on rats. Just like pigs, rats would rather be clean.
If one can’t own a dog but would like a pet that’s clean, friendly, playful, smart and loving, get a rat.
Mine love to sit on my shoulder while I’m relaxing or doing chores.
And my pets also are house-trained.
Try that with a gerbil or hamster.
