The Lemont Historical Society is taking a look back this month at a killer tornado that struck the village on June 13, 1976.

The program will feature a narrated video with photos taken from news accounts and home movies of the tornado–which killed two–and its aftermath.

Survivors will share their memories of the twister’s impact on them and their community.

The free program is set for 7:30 p.m. May 25 at the historical society, 306 Lemont St. Call 630-257-2972.
