Marie R. Tripamer, 92, of Geneseo, formerly of Chicago, IL, died Thursday, August 5, 2004 at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 9 at St. Malachy’s Catholic Church, Geneseo. Rev. Michael Pakula will celebrate. Burial will be in the North Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Vandemore Funeral Home Ltd., Geneseo where a scripture reading will be held at 7:45 p.m. Memorials may be left to Alzheimer’s Disease Research. Marie was born Oct. 31, 1911 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Frank and Anastasia, nee Rhoda, Costello. She married Edwin Tripamer in 1949 in Chicago, IL, he died April 17, 2001. Marie was an executive vice president of Schultz Lithographing Co. in Chicago, IL for 40 years, retiring in 1979. Marie loved her family. Survivors include one son, Douglas (Lynne) Tripamer of Osceola, WI and one daughter, Marilyn DeRango of Geneseo, IL; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
