Lurquin, Veteran WWII, beloved husband of Bernadette M., nee DeGroot; loving father of Judy (Dominic) Mele, John (Bonnie), Jim, Joseph (Anna), Jean (Rick) Turek, Jerome (Lori), Jane, Jeff (Nancy), Jennifer (Todd) Mayer, Jay (Mary Beth), Joyce (David) Schroeder, Joel (Beth), Jan and the late John Joseph; proud grandfather of 25; and great-grandfather of five; dear brother of Marge, Bern, Robert, Mary Ann and the late Jim; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of the original faculty of Evergreen Park High School, where he taught for over 30 years. Founding member of St. Linus Parish.
