We have two excellent candidates for the open U.S. Senate seat from Illinois. The Democrats have a rising star and a fresh young face on the national political stage. The GOP has an articulate speaker, one who has been on the national stage before. Both men are Harvard-educated, both are well-spoken and both are well-qualified. And either would make an excellent U.S. senator.
I am going with the only candidate who supports the president. We already have one senator from this state who does not, and that’s enough.
