The Democrats in the state of Illinois control the Senate, House of Representatives and the governor’s office. The fighting among themselves over the budget was sad. A person would think that members of the same party would work together.
The Republican leadership, on the other hand, went outside of the state of Illinois to find a candidate to run for the U.S. Senate.
By voting in the Republican primary, I guess I am considered a Republican. There is no way I will vote for someone who is not from Illinois to be my senator.
Barack Obama has my vote. Is he sure he wants to get into this mess?
