The letter writer who criticizes Hollywood in “Celluloid politics” (Voice of the people, Aug. 7) forgets that Hollywood exists because people go to see the films produced. Actors have the right to vote for any candidate they choose, as do the rest of us.
Celluloid or not, the GOP would not turn down any votes or financial contributions from Hollywood.
