“Bottled, sparkling or tap?” Don’t you hate it when you go to a fancy restaurant and the waiter asks you your “water preference”? It’s not that there’s anything wrong with the standard choices–bottled, sparkling or tap; we just feel like such cheapies always ordering the free stuff. Well, until Aug. 29, as part of Pellegrino’s Chicago Dine Out fundraiser, you don’t have to splurge. Around 20 restaurants are offering special $35 fixed-price dinners that include a free bottle of Pellegrino’s. Plus, the water company will toss a buck to Meals on Wheels Chicago for every meal served during the promo (though we think they’re the ones cheaping out with a $5,000 donation cap).
