Cardilli, SFC in the Korean War, born Aug. 24, 1932 passed away Aug. 18, 2004, loving husband of Arlene, nee Rakoncay; loving father of Michael, Karen (Dale) Henry and Lois (Rob) Barry; father-in-law to Diane Archambeau; cherished Papa of Michael (Viktorija), Joseph, Lisa, Kelly, Angel, Geena and Nicholas; proud great-grandfather of Michael Anthony. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Carmella, nee Gianfrancisco; his sister, Savina; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Frank and Gertrude, nee Nessling, Rakoncay; brother-in-law, Frank Ra- koncay. Former Chairman of the CTA, named Italian-American Executives of Transportation Man of the Year 1986. A private service was held. Donations to Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, 2250 E.
