Joan M. Ramuta, nee Nahas, Thursday, August 19, 2004 at home with her loving family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Joliet, life long resident. Survived by her treasured husband and caregiver, Matthew; her loving children Matthew (Rebecca), John (Vicky) both of Naperville and Mary Jo (Robert) Biondi of Arlington Heights; proud Gramma “Grambones” to Stephanie (Nathan) Gannaway, Sarah, Susanna, Michael and Matthew Ramuta, Brett and Luke Biondi; two sisters, Jackie (James) Spota of Atlanta, GA and Dona (Paul) Laskovsky and a brother Joe (Lore) Nahas; fond aunts, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous very appreciated friends also survive. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary, nee Glavan, Nahas; a brother Gary Nahas; in-laws Matt and Mary, nee Kwasniewski, Ramuta; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and two nieces.
