Those who want economic diversity in their town should get like-minded folks to buy or build houses then sell them at a loss or rent them at below-market rates. The cost of this social engineering will then fall on their shoulders, where it belongs. They have no right to force others, who don’t support their schemes, to finance this social engineering. Or, if they want to live in a “diverse” community, move to one. After all, it’s still a free country, despite their efforts.
