Devoted father of Lisa and Donald Kathan of Chicago, IL, Brian and Jamie Schwartz of Cincinnati, OH, and Wendy Schwartz of Los Angeles, CA; loving grandfather of Christina Kathan and Rhiannon, Evan and Seth Schwartz. A memorial will be held Wednesday, August 25, 3 to 6 p.m. at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Old Orchard and I-94, Skokie, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to “For the Love of the Game, Forever A Cubs Fan”, 4631 Placepointe Drive, Mason, OH 45040, would be appreciated.
