Thomas Rowland Jackson, 75, of Sister Bay, WI, formerly of Glenview, IL, died Aug. 25, 2004 at St. Vincent Hospital in Greenbay, surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born Oct. 5, 1928 in Chicago. Beloved husband of Mary Angela, nee Dalton; loving father of Thomas M. (Belen), Tim (Peggy), Patty (Bob) Russo, Maureen (Don) Kotek and Kathleen; proud grandfather of Tim, Kevin, Dan and Luke Jackson, Marygrace, Brittany and Allison Russo, Patrick, Bridget and Maggie Kotek; preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ceclia; brothers Chuck and Bob, sisters Dorothy and Claire. Graduate of St. Tarcissus Elementary School, Tom was a DePaul Academy H.S. Sprinter, who attended DePaul and Northwestern Univeristy. Marine Corps Boxer and Korean War Veteran. Port-O-Call Actor, turned gourmet cook and determined golfer. He was a life long Cubs fan, born a Chicago Bears fan, but died a Greenbay Packers Fan. Chicago area memorial service will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 3535 Thornwood Ave., Glenview on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 12 noon.
