There is no cause that justifies the murder of children. Children in a school in Russia, children on buses in Israel and children on planes in the United States have all been victimized by fanaticism and nihilism that simply must not be tolerated.
It would help tremendously if the world’s press would stop referring to these criminals as “rebels,” “insurgents” or “militants,” words that impart credibility and validation to their causes. They are terrorists, and there is not even the tiniest shred of justification for those who would brutalize the most helpless among us.
