The head of a Michigan arts center will take over as managing director of the 1-year-old Joan W. and Irving B. Harris Theater for Music and Dance beginning Oct. 15.
Michael Tiknis, president and CEO of the Midland Center for the Arts in Midland, Mich., will replace Joyce A. Moffatt, who is retiring. Tiknis has worked for symphonies in San Antonio, Buffalo and Honolulu.
