Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

During Texas’ 7-6, 10-inning loss to Oakland on Monday, Texas pitcher Frankie Francisco threw a chair into the right-field box seats and hit two spectators in the head. Photos of the ensuing madness captured the reactions and prove that a picture is worth a thousand words. Here’s just a few guesses of what some people might have been thinking:

1. “Hmmm, you know, she may be OK after … nope, I see blood. That nose is busted.”

2. “I don’t stand for chair tossing, never have, never will. Now, chuck a card table up here and you got me on my feet.”

3. “OH MY GOD? IS THAT BRAD PITT?”

4. “OH MY GOD? IS THAT JENNIFER ANISTON?”

5. “Oh my God, I’m surrounded by buffoons.”

6. “No, go ahead, feel my muscle. I can bench about … HOLY MOLY!”

7. “See, Dad, I think when they throw the chair like that, the blue team gets two points.”

8. “No fair. Throw me a chair! Throw me a chair!”

9. “Gosh, I love wrestling.”

10. “Lenny, now’s your chance. Run out there and steal third base!”

11. “I could SO throw a chair farther than that.”

12. “… and you Rangers smell, and you’re stupid, and, let’s see, you’re smelly. OK, I said that. I’m done.”

13. “This never happens at Raiders games.”

14. “You are so sued.”
