Sounds like two of hip-hop’s richest men want their MTV.
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Russell Simmons and P. Diddy are in talks with the music and reality TV giant to produce a new “Osbournes”-like series featuring a hip-hop family. The rumored working title: “Simmons Inc.: The First Family of Hip-Hop.”
MTV didn’t comment, but it doesn’t sound too far-fetched, given that P. Diddy already does “Making the Band” for the network and that Simmons is well-schooled in cutting TV deals.
