Wal-Mart’s morality police are cracking down again–and this time the target is Jon Stewart.
The super-retailer has shelved its order for “The Daily Show” host’s best seller, “America: The Book,” after learning that the pseudo civics textbook included a page featuring naked Supreme Court justices (PhotoShopped, of course). The book will be available on the Wal-Mart Web site.
Can we expect any retaliation from Comedy Central? An upcoming sketch might mention something “about an exciting new store Wal-Mart is planning in the shadow of Mexico’s oldest and most revered ruins,” “Daily Show” executive producer Ben Karlin quipped to USA Today.
