Peter “Pete” Cutsuvitis, age 87, of River Forest; cherished husband of Julia, nee Theodosakis for 65 years; loving father of Paul Cutsuvitis and the late Peter Cutsuvitis; dearest grandfather of Lauren (Peter) Briggs; fond brother-in-law of Helen Grom and John (Helen) Theodosakis; fond brother of the late Lazaros Cutsuvitis and the late Anna Costakis; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews; friend to many. Pete was a WW II veteran who enjoyed sports, loved to garden and make people laugh. Visitation Monday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Salerno’s Galewood Chapel, 1875 N. Harlem, Chicago. At the family’s request, those attending the funeral Tuesday shall go directly to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 601 S. Central, Chicago for service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
