Darwin “Doc” M. Rummel, 84, of Lincolnshire, passed away Feb. 10, 2005, beloved husband to Elizabeth “Dill”; loving father to John (Jean), Diane (Peter) Brainard and preceded in death by his son, Mace Rummel; cherished grandfather of four. Longtime member of the American Legion. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Village Church of Lincolnshire, 201 Riverwoods Rd., Lake Forest, IL 60045. Interment and Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Three Lakes, WI, where he was a summer resident. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Building Fund at the Village Church of Lincolnshire.
