It’s been a rough year for Brad Pitt, but it could be worse. He could be Chad Schmidt.
Pitt is set to star in “Chad Schmidt,” the story of an aspiring actor who moves to Hollywood in the late ’80s only to find out he looks too much like Pitt to be taken seriously, Variety reports. As a result, poor Chad enjoys none of Brad’s success and can only watch as Pitt takes off into superstardom.
Talk about an out-of-body experience.
Meanwhile, the wait continues for Pitt’s buzz-heavy dark comedy, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” due in theaters June 10.
