I must clarify exactly what is being demanded when “Evolutionists demand a monopoly of ideas” (Voice of the people, Feb. 15). The demand is simply that science be taught in science classes.
Not art, not music, not religion, but science.
This should not be construed as censorship or an attack on non-science topics, merely a separation of the others to their own classes.
If we valued teaching science in this country, perhaps the same Tribune edition would not contain an article on America’s declining technological leadership, which is attributed to the poor job we do in educating our children in math and science.
