The Village Board this week approved a proposal for construction manager services on the $1.4 million rehabilitation of Carlson Pond at Rotary Park to alleviate flooding in an older residential area.

Zcorp Services will head the project, which is funded by a state grant. A fountain will be installed, and work is expected to be done this summer.

Also this week, the board approved a $39,000 proposal from Hanson Professional Services for hangar development at Clow International Airport.

The village hired the same firm to develop an airport layout-upgrade plan, which was submitted to state and federal aviation officials. The design includes lengthening the runway and adding hangars.
