– Prices for the 2005 Nissan Xterra sport-utility vehicle start at $20,800 for the two-wheel-drive S with a 6-speed manual transmission. The four-wheel-drive S is $22,900, also with manual. A 5-speed automatic is an $800 option. Automatic is standard on the SE model, which is $25,300 with 2WD and $27,300 with 4WD. The prices do not include the $580 destination charge. Sales began in mid-February.
– Saab will introduce a 9-3 wagon called the SportCombi at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The SportCombi is scheduled for sale in the U.S. in fall as a 2006 model. Standard engine will be a turbocharged 4-cylinder with 210 horsepower. The Aero model will use a new turbo V-6 with 250 h.p. The 2.8-liter V-6 also will power the 2006 Aero versions of the 9-3.
