So, Indiana basketball coach Mike Davis got the ultimatum, “Win or else” (Tribune, March 23). Funny, I didn’t see anything in any articles about the players getting the same ultimatum. But of course, that implies admitting to 12 mistakes instead of one.
I watched a few Indiana games this season, and I never saw Mike Davis pass, shoot, dribble, miss a free throw or sit on the bench in foul trouble. He did rant, rave, implore, beg, and generally try to get it done. Just once, I’d like to see someone fire the team.
