Michael Patrick Thomas, age 40, 14 year resident of Tinley Park, formerly of Dolton, passed away April 2. He is survived my his loving parents, Edwin and Lois Thomas and his dear sister, Pattie (Paul) Gallinaro. He was a beloved uncle to Alex and Nick Gallinaro and also was loved by many relatives and friends. Michael is an Eagle Scout, an alumnus od Marian Catholic High School and I.S.U. He was a Microbiologist at the University of Chicago Hospital and an avid supporter of the Cultural Arts and Sciences. He had a very gentle and kind heart and was loved by all. Visitation at Hirsh Memorial Chapel, 7151 W. 183rd St., Tinley Park, IL on Wednesday, April 6, from 2 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 7 at St. Lawrence O’Toole, 214th and Governors Hwy., Matteson.
