Each baseball season, Team Marketing Report issues its Fan Cost Index to determine how much it costs to attend baseball games.
This season, the Cubs and Sox cracked the top six most expensive outings, according to the company study, which determines cost through phone calls with representatives from teams, venues and concessionaires.
The FCI includes two adult average price tickets; two child average price tickets; four small soft drinks; two small beers; four hot dogs; two programs; parking; and two adult-size caps. The 2005 average ticket price is $21.17, and the average FCI is $164.43.
