The Black Eyed Peas are moving beyond the pod. MTV.com reports that the Peas are planning to go solo after they tour for their latest release, “Monkey Business,” which drops June 7.

“Fergie has her record, I have a Spanish record coming out and Apl has a Pilipino record coming out,” Taboo said. “We decided to branch out and show the world that we as individuals could represent our own styles.”

The band members also are interested in pursuing acting and producing, but Peas fans need not worry: The group will continue to make music together, Taboo said.

Catch the Black Eyed Peas in Chicago on June 26.
