Common picked up the mic and wowed Chicago clubgoers Tuesday by performing songs from his upcoming disc during a CD release party.
The surprise performance went down at Four in front of a crowd that included Bears lineman John Tait and Chicago native Antoine Walker, who plays for the Boston Celtics.
Common’s disc, “Be,” drops Tuesday.
