I’ve already read one of your selections, “Dirty Blonde and Half-Cuban,” by Lisa Wixon, an incredibly written, soulful and eye-opening novel about life in modern-day Cuba and the educated prostitutes who sell themselves to sex tourists.
This is a novel I wouldn’t have found without your guide, and I very much look forward to reading the other books on your remarkable list.
