Ronald B. Grolla, age 75, late of St. John, IN and formerly of Dolton, IL, departed this life on Thursday, October 6, 2005. Beloved husband of June, nee Tymuse, for 54 years; loving father of Janet (Dean) Anderson of Valparaiso, IN, Kathy (Michael) Irvine of Oak Forest, IL and Paul (Laura) Grolla of Schererville, IN; devoted grandfather of Laura (Scott) Carlson, Christopher and Stacy Irvine, Erik and Melissa Anderson, Lindsay and Dan Grolla. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother. U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Lifetime member and distinguished society award winner of the ISA (Instrument Society of America). Retired from Illiana Instrumentation in Merrillville which he founded in 1968. Member of Amblin Ramblin Sams RV Club. Lifelong die hard Green Bay Packer fan.
