Kathleen C. Conroy, nee Moran, age 88, late of Orland Park. Born October 27, 1916, and passed away October 8, 2005, peacefully in her home surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Aloysius M. Conroy; loving daughter of the late Eugene and Ellen Moran. She was a dedicated, encouraging and compassionate loving mother of Maureen (Ray) Schuster, David (Mary and late Beverly) Conroy, Michael (Joanne) Conroy and Eileen (late Robert) Hokanson; dear sister of the late Ellen (late Dan) Nicholson, Bridgette (late Ambrose) Conroy, Anne “Babe” (late Richard) Burns, Patrick (late Mary Lou) Moran and Mary Moran; dearest sister-in-law to the late Emeline (late Harold) Berling, Ann (late Walter) McKeown, Leonard (late Peggy) Conroy, Marie (late Joseph) Sarsfield, Rose (late James) Ryan and Martin Conroy; a loving, affectionate grandmother of Brian (Jennifer) Schuster, Kevin (Tracy) Schuster, Nancy (Norman) Elftmann, Scott (Briann) Conroy, Laura Conroy, Susan Conroy, Rebecca Conroy, Jennifer (Jon) Baarsch, Elizabeth Conroy, Shelly Hokanson, Eric (Amanda) Hokanson; and greatgrandmother of Peregrine Rose Baarsch, Julie Ann Conroy, Suwanee Baarsch, Karli Kathleen Schuster and Selena Marie Schuster; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to her daughter, Maureen, dearest grandchildren Nancy Elftmann and Brian Schuster and her caregiver Julia Kalata. Also to friends Frank, Darla and Kelli Kasper and Paul and Catherine Schoening. Mrs. Conroy was a die-hard Cubs fan and Kathleen is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
