– British actor Peter Mayhew, best known as the furry Chewbacca in the “Star Wars” films, is now a U.S. citizen. Mayhew took the oath to become a naturalized American on Monday in Arlington, Texas. “I’ll have a British passport, an American passport and a Wookiee passport,” joked the 60-year-old Mayhew.
– Former “Hercules” star Kevin Sorbo and his wife, actress Sam Jenkins Sorbo, welcomed their third child in Henderson, Nev., on Sunday, an 8 lb., 7 oz. baby girl, People.com reported. Sorbo, 47, and Jenkins, 40, have not yet named their new daughter. Their other two children are boys: Braeden Cooper, 4, and Shane Haaken, 1.
