The best thing that has happened to the Cubs is the World Series attainment of the White Sox. Finally a Chicago tradition/jinx–whatever–has been debunked. I hope such inspiration will rub off on the North Siders come springtime and help elevate their game. With such rivalry renewed in 2006, it should be the best year ever for Chicago baseball. Whatever the outcome, Chicago and all its fans have won.
