Vaughnifer can’t escape the paparazzi, and apparently they can’t elude the law either.

Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston were pulled over by Scottsdale, Ariz., police earlier this week, and Vaughn was given a sobriety test, police said Thursday, according to The Associated Press. Vaughn wasn’t cited for any violation after taking a breath test, Scottsdale police Sgt. Mark Clark said.

“We determined he had something to drink but was not over the legal [impairment] limit,” Clark said. “We suggested that he not continue to drive.”

Clark said Vaughn parked the vehicle, described as a white van or truck, at a nearby resort, and he and Aniston hopped into the car of a friend who had been following them. Messages left for their publicists weren’t returned.

Arrested

Rocker Pete Doherty, best known as the on-off boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, has been arrested on suspicion of drug possession, police and the singer’s spokesman said Thursday. Doherty was stopped by police as he drove along a London street Wednesday.

All smiles

Alanis Morissette made her name with moody hits like “You Oughta Know,” but fiance Ryan Reynolds (“Just Friends”) assured Cosmo Girl magazine that she knows how to smile.

“Alanis laughs from the soles of her feet up to the top of her head,” he says.

Ivy league

Joy Bryant held her own with 50 Cent in “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” and she says her Yale education helped her hold her own as a young model on the catwalks. “It saved me when I went over to Paris and there were all these playboys lurking about,” she tells Complex magazine, according to the New York Post. “Thanks to Yale, I didn’t wake up butt naked in a chateau wearing handcuffs.” Cheers.
