MORE ON USED BOOKS: Are you still scratching your head over what to do with unwanted books? Get busy. Pack up a box and go to Book Rescue, 799 Roosevelt Rd., Building 3, Suite 7, Glen Ellyn, 630-790-4345. Book Rescue (www.bookrescue.org) is operated by SCARCE (School & Community Assistance for Recycling and Composting Education). The group sends books to those who need them most. Recently, thousands of books have gone to schools and libraries reopening in post-Katrina Alabama, Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Another 116 boxes of books have gone to high schools in Kenya.
