Economists step up with forecasts
The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business will present its annual business forecast luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Drive.
Three economists will examine conditions nationally and abroad, and make predictions for business and economic activity in 2006.
The prognosticators are Michael Mussa, senior fellow at the Institute for International Economics in Washington, D.C., and Randall Kroszner and Marvin Zonis. Kroszner is professor of economics and associate director of the Center for the Study of the Economy and the State at the Graduate School of Business. Zonis is professor emeritus of business administration at the school and principal of Marvin Zonis + Associates Inc.
Edward A. Snyder, dean and George Pratt Shultz professor of economics, will moderate the event.
