Two Web sites, search.espn.go.com (search for Stallone and images) and womenboxing.com (click on “latest news”) have photos from the next Rocky flick. The photos show a not-so-young or tough Sly Stallone in and out of boxing garb during shooting in Las Vegas. The film, “Rocky Balboa,” is the sixth in the series and is set for a Feb. 9, 2007, release.
To star
How’d you like to work with uber director James Cameron? You know, he did “Titantic.” Now he’s casting for his upcoming 3-D action film “Battle Angel,” and he wants an unknown to star. What they want: A female age 16 to mid-20s, athletic and agile, have availability in spring 2006 when filming starts. Apply by Dec. 19 at malifinncasting.com.

It’s not 1983, but skinny ties are back. While you’ve been seeing them on Jude Law, Jake Gyllenhaal and bands like The Killers, they’re even more visible in spring 2006 runway shows of Dior Homme, Dolce and Gabbana and D Squared. Don’t worry, they’re not ’80s-skinny, just a little narrower than a standard modern tie.
Dynamic duet
Alicia Keys and Bono ask everyone to “Don’t Give Up (Africa)” today with an exclusive-to-iTunes download of their remake of the 1986 Peter Gabriel-Kate Bush hit. Proceeds will be given to Keep A Child Alive, a group that provides medicine to families infected with AIDS or HIV.
