– Christina Applegate and her husband, Johnathon Schaech, are calling it quits after four years of marriage. The couple have filed for divorce, and “the decision is mutual,” they said in a joint statement. Applegate, 34, played Kelly Bundy on TV’s “Married … With Children” and earned a Tony nomination for her role in “Sweet Charity.” Schaech, 36, starred in 1996’s “That Thing You Do!”
– Grant Wood’s “American Gothic,” one of the signature paintings of the Art Institute of Chicago, will return to its galleries Dec. 15, the institute said Tuesday. “Gothic” had been on loan for four months to the Cedar Rapids, Ia., Museum of Art for a Wood retrospective.
– Rap superstar Eminem told a Detroit radio show Tuesday that he is back together with his ex-wife — and they may remarry. Eminem went through an ugly divorce and custody battle over his young daughter with Kimberly Mathers. They had married in 1999, and their divorce was finalized in 2001.
