– David Schwimmer will make his Broadway debut in a revival of “The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial,” Herman Wouk’s stage adaptation of his best-selling novel that later became a hit movie. The courtroom drama will open May 7 at a theater to be announced. Schwimmer will play Lt. Barney Greenwald.

– Steppenwolf Theatre Company says Chicago actor David New will become its new associate artistic director. New, who has appeared in several Steppenwolf shows, replaces Curt Columbus, who is moving to a new post at the Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, R.I.
