Golden Globes nominees were pleased as punch after Tuesday’s happy news–if they weren’t half asleep, people.com reports.
After all, the nominations were announced just after 5:30 a.m. on the West Coast.
“I was wondering, ‘Gosh, who’s calling?’ I didn’t put anything together,” said Will Ferrell, who was nominated for his role in “The Producers.”
“It wasn’t until my wife was like, ‘You got nominated, I know it! There’s no reason why anyone would be calling this morning!’ “
Keira Knightley was in London, so she found out later in the day. “[I was] trying to work out how to make lasagna,” she said.
