James E. Hubeny, 88 years old, of Glenview, IL, passed away Dec. 10, 2005 at Starke Memorial Hospital in Knox, IN. He was born April 1, 1917 to the late John and Mary, nee Cuda, Hubeny in North Judson, IN. On May 15, 1943 he married his loving wife, Gladys, nee Drs, Hubeny who survives. They were blessed with one daughter, Eileen Hubeny, who preceded him in death. Mr. Hubeny is also survived by a sister, Anne Blagyich of Berwyn, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. (EST) Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005 at the O’Donnell Funeral Home, North Judson, IN, with a 7:30 p.m. (EST) Rotary Service. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. (EST) Friday, Dec. 16, 2005 at the SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, North Judson, IN. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
