Maybe you’ve seen a trailer for the Johnny Knoxville comedy “The Ringer” and thought, “Hey, wasn’t that a ‘South Park’ episode?”

While it’s true there was a “South Park” in which Cartman competed in the Special Olympics, Ricky Blitt, who wrote “The Ringer,” says he’s no rip-off artist.

In fact, Blitt struck up a war of words with “South Park” creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, telling Entertainment Weekly that they ripped off him. Blitt says his story came first and claims he pitched it to someone at Stone and Parker’s company.

Stone laughed off any talk of plagiarism, telling EW: “I’m totally sympathetic to the fact that you make a film and you go online and people say you ripped it off. [But] I’ve literally never heard of him.”
