– Prince William will begin his training to become a British army officer on Jan. 8 when he starts attending the country’s elite Sandhurst military academy, royal officials announced Friday. The heir to the throne will have to bring his own ironing board so he can prepare his uniforms on a daily basis.

– Samuel L. Jackson will be honored by the I Have A Dream Foundation for his commitment to education, both on film and in real life. Director George Lucas will present Jackson with the Dream Keeper Award at the foundation’s eighth annual Gospel Brunch on Jan. 29 at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, it was announced Thursday.

-CNN talk show host Nancy Grace says she wants no money from a mental patient she has accused of stalking her. In a complaint filed Thursday against Joseph Loegering, Grace asked the court to bar him from contacting her. The complaint also said she sought damages, but Grace issued a statement Thursday saying, “I have never approved seeking money from Mr. Loegering.”
