Ernest Peter Neely, 89, beloved husband of the late Geneva “Doogie”; loving father of Ernest R. (Ginny) Neely and Pamela J. (Russell) Ritchie; proud grandfather of seven; great-grandfather of seven; dear brother of Anita (Valian) Reynolds and the late Kenneth G. (the late Evelyn) Neely. Mr. Neely was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Retired Chicago Police Officer and a Retired Detective Sergeant from the Cook County Sheriff’s Police Dept.
